This
course will explore the five themes of geography: location, place,
movement, region, and human-environment interaction. Throughout this
course, students will explore countries and regions throughout the
world, including the United States. Students will use maps, statistical
data, primary and secondary sources, and films to understand how place,
environment, and culture affects the way humans live and interact with
each. Through the use of case studies, students will develop theories
and build awareness of what is occurring throughout the modern world.
